watch.  its worth it.

Room with a View

We have gigantic trees in our backyard.  Which is both very cool and very scary.  Cool because it looks like a park and it’s all green and tree-y.  Cool in the summer.

Crap in the fall with about a BABILLION leaves to rake.  Crap during scary storms because a tree always falls over in our neighborhood — they are mature and old and dropping at an alarming rate.  One fell out of our front yard across the street this winter.  Eek!

So — this is a long way of saying that we are being pro-active and have taken down the two most scary trees in our backyard that always drop limbs at random times….and threaten to fall on the house.  So down they came.  The SO and I in a bid to save money decided we’d do the clearing of the trees ourselves.  Silly silly peeps.  Can you even IMAGINE how many leaves/branches/limbs/trunks/sticks that is?  Here — let me help:

And this is after several days of work.  Gah.  It’s getting better though.

And in case you are also wondering (it’s a wondering sort of day) — here’s where I sit most of the time:

And just so you know.  I am NOT addicted to Flickr.  NOT.  okay.  maybe a little.

Senior Sessions…

Are opportunities to try out new ideas.  PERFECT!

I’m going crazy.

Yeah. I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. And frankly, I’ve been carrying a lot of guilt about it! Right now — I’m re-working my website…and creating a new blog — so stay tuned for that. I’m merging all my blogs into one — the heck with it. personal…photo…it’s all going in together. I can’t keep it all straight and it’s frustrating me!

So…in case you haven’t seen it yet:

New Senior Photo Site: www.lightcrayonseniors.com

Twitter: http://twitter.com/tammyswales (twitter is fun. I just joined!)

Blog and Web redo links to follow as soon as I actually get them done…sigh.

Miss you all!

PS — here’s a photo of the SO. I really like it. He said: I look old. I said: Give it a rest - -I took the wrinkles off your forehead! He said: …well. I can’t really repeat what he said! ::laughing::

I love this person…

Found in the local craigslist for sale listing today. I copied it because I was afraid whoever it is would have a change of heart and take it down…I’d like to imagine this is for real…but who can tell anymore? I might have to start working out my angst in Craigslist. I never thought of that!

Ever had a guy that wouldn’t pick his crap up after you split?

After a nearly flawless relationship, the guy I was seeing has taken the cop out that he “just can’t let anyone in right now” and has terminated it. He says he isn’t ready for a relationship, that the last person hurt him to much, blah, blah, blah… He says it is him, not me… Blah, blah, blah. And he says it would hurt too much to see me again because he does love me… BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Well, I have a bag of his crap… And since it will “hurt too much to see me”, he doesn’t want to come get his stuff.

It contains the following:

One large pair of Tigger boxers (clean)

One large pair of Corona boxers (found in the wash bin, free of skids and curly hairs)

One large pair of neutral color plaid flannel sleep pants (found on the floor)

A few large t-shirts, I’m not listing them separately

One large atheltic works compression shirt (the Wal Mart underarmour)

6 cans of Spaghetti-O’s with meatballs

1 can of sour cream and onion Pringles (unopened)

A pink toothbrush (should this have been a clue???)

1 can of shaving cream (I won’t send the razor, unless you request it)

1 bottle of Zest liquid body soap (some used out of it)

1 box of Precision diabetic testing strips (worth maybe $40-75)

If I could find a way to send the sugar free ice cream and sugar free strawberry topping, I would… if you know of a way, I’d be happy to accomodate it.

As an added bonus, I will throw in ANY other stuff I find, at no additional charge. I promise it will only be a G rated package, so you can open it in front of your family, children, grandmother or priest without fear.

I am keeping the double stuff Oreo’s… they are chocolate after all…

Bid high, bid often! Sorry no pictures, I don’t want to put that much effort into him.

This girl is magic…

Another layout from Jessica Sprague’s classes.  The whole thing was done in about 30 or more layers and I built it up from papers only in CS3 (buttons and tags were embellishments).  Very proud…but tired.  ::grin::

A developing idea…

So…I have an idea that’s evolving.  I really am after some whimsical dream like images that I THINK people will like…but I am not completely sure — what do you guys think?  Is there a market for something like this?  Would parents love images like this?  Be honest.  I can’t decide…

And here’s the evolving set…think image combined with whimsy…

Respond soon.  I am not going to keep this post up for long — I appreciate it my wonderful blog friends (and my mother! ::laughing: :)
